School started yesterday.

I was kind of excited for it, to start getting back into the swing of things, and I figured the sooner that it started the sooner I’d get it done with.

School sucks. I’m taking 18 credits, and on Mondays and Wednesdays I have five classes, so if yesterday was how things are going to be all semester on Mondays and Wednesdays I’ll be gone from my house from 8:15am until 9:15pm. Whoo.

I have four chapters in four different boring text books to read by tomorrw… so far I’ve read three pages into my marketing textbook, and right now I don’t feel like doing any more.

I should also probably go to bed soon.

Bah humbug, I say, bah humbug.

The crickets are chirping like crazy tonight, I can even hear them over my ever-loud, possibly broken air conditioner which could cover the sound of a gunfight (I know this because those happen in Levittown all the time…).

I haven’t written anything worthwhile in months.

I don’t even know if those things that I wrote months ago were even worthwhile.

I used to write a lot of poetry, but I don’t do that any more.

I miss coming up with poems and having ideas and thinking they were beautiful even if they really weren’t. I miss being inspired and not feeling constantly blocked by writers (that’s what writer’s block means… right?). I miss having something to say even if it was really nothing.

And goddamnit, I used to be pretty gosh darn good at saying something about nothing and going on for quite some time about it.

See?

Eh, whatever, maybe it’s just a fluke. “It” in this scenario could mean anything from the writing to the block, who knows? We’ll find out? I keep typing the homonyms for the words I’m thinking of, my fingers must be sleepy…

That means that it’s time to put on my pajamas and brush my teeth and then probably play Warcraft until five in the morning. Just kidding, I’m trying to cut back.

But seriously if AIM doesn’t say I’m idle by like midnight, start yelling at me and/or having philosophical conversations with me.

I’d like to say that I’ll start updating regularly again, but I can’t promise that (and half the time I do promise that I don’t follow through anyway).

So what’s been going on?

Well, I didn’t write a novel in July, and for whatever reason TH CHALLENGE: Awesome violently spiraled and crashed to the ground moments after lifting off.

I go back to school in two weeks, so we’ll see how that goes.

Six months from yesterday I turn 21, so that’s pretty exciting.

I got a vanity plate that reads “L2P NUB.”

I started playing massive amounts of World of Warcraft again, and while I know that it’s definitely not healthy, I can’t seem to help myself.

I started watching How I Met  Your Mother with Joyce, it’s a pretty fantastic show. We managed to watch the entire first season in four days.

That’s about it for now.

That took my less than five minutes, but even knowing that I probably still won’t be able to convince myself to be able to give up five minutes every other day or so to update.

Not that I have anything interesting to say anyway…
